Berlin-based artist Anika's haunting vocals have been a favourite of ours for a long time, from the stunning collection of covers on her 2010 self-titled album to her contributions as part of Sacred Bones' Exploded View. Returning with an unusually-titled new single, 'Finger Pies' is Anika's first solo offering for 8 years. Out now via Invada Records, the satisfyingly spooky single drifts between softly spoken interludes and thicker, instrumental sections as she repeats the refrain "some may say that you are only interested in one thing, that's to get your own way."
